Functional Skills Level 2 can be a suitable option if you didn’t achieve the GCSE grade you needed, haven’t taken GCSEs, have been educated outside mainstream school, or simply need a recognised Maths or English qualification for your next step.
Functional Skills Level 2 qualifications are recognised by many colleges, apprenticeship providers and employers.

Yes. Functional Skills Level 2 Maths and English are nationally recognised Level 2 qualifications regulated by Ofqual. They are accepted by many colleges, apprenticeship providers and employers.
Functional Skills Level 2 is a Level 2 qualification, the same qualification level as GCSE grades 4–9. It is a different qualification, however, so individual organisations may have their own entry requirements.
We can also arrange iGCSE Maths and English examinations. iGCSEs run during scheduled examination series and therefore do not offer the same rapid turnaround as Functional Skills.
